I just posted a plea for help on the Introductions board. Please read it and help, if you can.
I'd also be remiss if I did not wish one and all the very best Christmas that they can imagine, with good food, good friends and conviviality all around [using whatever means you need to get convivial]. As far as 2009 is concerned, well, It might get a lot worse for some of us than we have become accustomed to. I hope that whatever financial evils beset us all do not weigh overmuch on any of you. Being relatively poor myself, I have become enured to whatever gets thrown at, or dumped on, me.
I hope everyone here fares as well as can be expected.
Regards, and best wishes to everyone.
Gordie

Merry Christmas to all, lest we forget.
And who can forget when Walmart ran me out at 6:00 tonight so they could close.

Yes, Merry Christmas and Season's Greetings to all of our members. The General and Ms. Libby are hosting a party tonight at 8:00 pm, please let Mary Adams know if you are not able to attend.
The enlisted men will be conducting a play in the south barracks at 7:00 pm followed by a Grand Hop in the central barracks immediately following. Please plan to dress warm as the weather suggests a very chilly Dakota evening tonight.
Hope to see you all there.
