I feel like one of those chaps in the church in High Noon, here "I can't believe what I'm hearing!! Don't you remember what this town was like......?" I cant believe what I'm hearing here.
Some are attempting to crucify custerwest for what he honestly believes. Some are trying to ostracize huckleberryjoe for expressing support for custerwest and for turning the other cheeks. What is gained by any of this constant bickering and vilification? Do we understand any better what happened at the Little Bighorn by this type of behavior? Is this not a forum for freedom of speech and expression, within the bounds of human decency?
My advice, for what it is worth is: give this forum a chance before consigning it to the ash-heap of history. And when it comes to personalities, examine them carefully before leading the neck-tie party. Am I mixing my metaphors here?

Thank you rollingthunder. I’m sorry too. I am a bit sensitive and a little overly so sometimes. I know you weren’t trying to be cruel. I shouldn’t have said that, and I think we can be friends. I would like too anyway. I don’t know about the other guy tommyk. He can be a bit abrasive but maybe that’s just the way he is. Believe you me, we all have to be what we are and can’t hide our real selves from others for long. He and I can be more friendly too, if he wants to. Well, thank you for the corn mash offer but I prefer wine. A nice rose, but I get the tiniest bit silly when I’ve had too much so I try to good and only have one small glass at a time. Thank you so much for giving me the other Custer west site. I tried to go there and see you said it held, but it wouldn’t open for me. I got a message saying it didn’t exist or something. Are you sure the address is correct? None of us can know just exactly what the truth always is, but I would like to view the other site and see. I can’t imagine there’s more to offer, but custerwest is an amazing talent.

That is very well said foolkiller. I may have had you wrong to start with. I think now that you were just trying to be friendly and get to know me by being a bit ‘cheeky’ as my British friend says. YES YES YES!!! We don’t have to be wasting our time fighting here and acting like name calling little children. Custerwest is here, and has a website that is a solid foundation to build discussions on. I do so hope it will be possible to meet each other some day. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
I'm all for free speech and expression, and of course you are at liberty, so far, to do whatever you would like to do; but I must tell you that I do not choose to associate with rose drinkers, except understanding women, or with persons who leave words out of their posts, as you seem wont to do.
Freedom of association also means freedom FROM association, and the freer we get from this association the better it will be for both of us.

Please don't feel that way. Rose is very good. You're being silly. You're funny too. I mean that in a good way. Its just that anything stronger than a little wine burns my mouth. It kind of makes my lips chapped too. At least they feel that way when I've had he harder stuff.
I do get a little careless when I'm upset and sometimes words come out wrong. I try very hard to write what I mean but I guess I do leave words out sometimes. Its embarrassing when I do. Just give me a chance here. I know you'll like me and I'll like you. Well, I already like you, and I don't mind saying so.

I have been advised by the Screen Guild WRITERS, who have settled their strike, that you have been placed in the "Best International Documentry" classification for your documentry regarding Brokeback Mountain II -- EH?
Your OSCAR has been mailed to you!
P.S. - We've included a 41 cent stamp on your package, so if it doesn't show up, please see your post office official!

Oh wow. Are you a movie writer or in television? That's wonderful. I always wanted to get into show business, myself. I only got as far as working on wardrobe backstage for a couple of plays. It was exciting though. I loved every minute of it. I knew we probably had something in common.
I, too, am extremely sorry for the ennuendo (is that how you spell ennuendo?) I thought when someone speaks so highly of another and defends them to the hilt that would indicate some type of "relationship".
I see, now that I am wrong and express my deepest and most sincerest apologies if I made it sound like you were something you are (maybe) not or could possibly be in the future or maybe were at one time.
I think Rolling Rock, oops, Thunder and I could be in the start of a good friendship.

I understand you may be a "little" dyslexic (or as you put it, is that how you spell dyslexic?).....BUT Rolling Rock? Maybe that explains why you're a BoSox fan! You have the bEST beer in the U.S., Sam Adams, and you want Rolling Rock!!! That explains a LOT. Now if you should bend a little, like from a Pennsylvania Beer, to a REAL beer, then friendship is NOT out of the question........JUST NO Ouzo shots!!!
I used to be in the show business, primarily as an action film third banana - a menacing presence merely hinted at, usually off screen, which is why I never made it big. It didn't help when I was accidentally injured, while out hunting, by a stay round from a careless hunter. Thankfully, one of my friends was close by and was able to carry me out to the truck. But I did wind up in this wheelchair, putting paid to my budding career.
Now I live vicariously through the adventures of others, and enjoy reading of Custer, Blackbeard, Geronimo, and other true-life heroes. I hope one day to visit the battlefield. That Melani fellow, at least I think it was him, said that some parts are wheelchair accessible, and I hope he wasn't just stringing me along.
I will look forward to receiving any statue anyone wishes to send me; but custerwest owes me one, which is why I keep bringing up the matter. I hope that you good chaps don't find it too boring.

tommyk, I really apprieciate that right now, man. I just read the saddest thing. Foolkiller just shared something sad with me. I think these shared tragedies can make us all closer here. I can't really talk about this anymore right now. Please forgive me for leaving a little early tonight.
