Steve Winders 11 October at 20:03 - I visited your café and trading post last week while I was over in the U.S.A. I was delighted to see and buy a print of Frank Humphris' picture of Custer's Last Stand and was even more pleased when your shop manager(?) showed me the original. Frank was a highly regarded and successful western artist in Britain. He wrote and illustrated several Ladybird children's books, including one about the Battle of the Little Big Horn, published in 1976, the centenary of the battle. He also illustrated the popular western comic strip Riders of the Range in the famous Eagle comic in the 1950s and early 60s. Years ago I heard that the picture was in the Visitor Center at the Battlefield and I assume you acquired it from them? Best wishes to you all at the Trading Post, where we also enjoyed a great meal.
