Just an FYI
The latest copy of Wild West magazine (June 2016) has three separate articles covering 16 pages that took place at LBH on June 25, 1876. The articles are written by Bruce R. Liddic, John Koster & Lilah Morton Pengra.
Just so there is no misinformation spread, the sketch which appears in the table of contents and again at the head of my article about Dorman is NOT, in my opinion, Dorman. It was a sketch made by Samuel Patrick for a syndicated column by Patrick and George Reasons in the late 1960s/early 1970s and appeared in many newspapers across the US. Although the information that it is not a sketch of Dorman appears in fine print in two places in the Wild West article, the casual reader may not notice. Because the Patrick and Reasons column was clearly based on a secondary source and because the sketch bears a clear resemblance to a photograph of George Custer, it is my opinion that it was purely a figment of Patrick's imagination and not based on some long, lost photo of Dorman.
