Mark Hamilton of Minot, ND., owner of Wild Things Gallery, unveiled his Harley-Davidson motorcycle which was painted by Andy Knudson.
The cycle is depicting the Battle of the Little Bighorn. The photo below is the rear fender, depicting "Custer's Last Parley-The Divide".
On April 7, 2013, Mark held a special event for the unveiling. Guest speakers were Ernie LaPointe, the great grandson of Sitting Bull and Steve Alexander, who portrays George Armstrong Custer. Other special guests were Gerry Schultz, a 7th Cavalry reenactor who plays the part of Private Peter Thompson, and Chris Floyd, who plays the part of Buffalo Bill Cody.
Around 110 people attended with meet and greet, book signings, pictures, and a great dinner followed by the guest speakers.
Mark Hamilton and Andy Knudson have to be commended on the study and artwork put into this motorcycle. Mark's attention to detail in the events that occurred at the battle and Andy's art work, truly turned this 2004 Harley-Davidson Sportster into a magnificent piece of art.
