Condolences go out to our longtime forum member Strange on the loss of his faithful and loving Jindo dog Lucky, who passed away today at the ripe old age of 20. The pain of losing a family pet is often no different from losing a member of our own family, as indeed they are.

The Rainbow Bridge. You know Dan I don't much care who is there at the Pearly Gates as long as I cross the Rainbow Bridge first. It seems humans could lean a few things from them. They care for you because of who you are, and not what you are.

It is with a very sad heart that I inform the members of this forum of the recent passing of our good friend Richard Anthony (who posted as Tunkasila), having received a private message to this effect from his nephew (see below). Those who knew Richard valued his friendship as well as his tremendous knowledge of the Little Big Horn battle and history and culture of the American Indian. His presence here at this forum will be greatly missed. We'll meet again Richard and share a drink on the shady slopes of Fiddler's Green.
with great regrets,
I have found your name and details on a list in my late uncle's file of those to advise in the event of his death.
He suffered a massive stroke in early December from which he sadly never recovered and died last Sunday, 10th January with no suffering.
I will not visit this site again so there is no call for a reply.
