wtf said:Anybody can write a book and present their views. And that is exactly what David and everywhere here does, present views with selected and cherry-picked accounts to back it up.
A good author and/or website presents both sides of an issue and not just one. The LBH is filled with contradictions, false accounts, misleading accounts, Indians who may have been afraid to tell the truth or said only what they thought the White Man wanted to hear and there are thousands of books that present both sides of the issue.
Authors/historians with agendas should be taken with a grain of salt, those who give an overall view with accounts and testimonies from both sides and with contradictions are more valuable.
Who art thou to judge value?
Do you value historians who take all sides just to protect their credibility or stature? Are we to sit on the fence posts and think ourselves stupid with political correctness until all of the action is dried up and we then realize that none of us were there to enjoy the fight and thrill of really making some good stories and taking a stand for those great a ferocious ones who were shot down for this country?
While other historians spend their days playing footsy and sending us multiple beliefs from their perceptions of reality, I like to think that I'm always upon the trenches and making the best out of the thousands of years worth of world history that I study over.
When the blasphemers of this earth step forward to challenge the greater beings of yesteryear, I hope and pray that there will be opposition that will not stand to have so many years worth of accomplishments being set forth into ruin.
There exist certain kinds of beings with true stature, ones that come forth in all walks of man. But in the ignorance and sin of mankind, great innovations are left void for untold years. Technologies, such as steampower, are invented to be forgotten and then reinvented in far later years with such generations thinking it had never been before. More progress can be set forth when never forgetting of things when they are first presented.
Same goes with fitness. All proportions of physicality have existed from the very emergence of the flesh. 22 inch biceps were before Schwarzenegger, before steroids, before supplements, BEFORE GYMS! Photographically, Russian bodybuilders are showing Arnold's purportions at the earliest of 1900! And yet, fitness experts deliberately mask the public from these extraordinary feats so that they can reinvent bodybuilding each year and hook people onto the latest drug or expendature.
Stands are important, packing and presenting the information is more important than establishing all sides of multiple perspective.
...... where was I? Bending nails with my bare hands can be a little distracting when I'm writing these things.
Any way, moving along...........
David is serving General Custer in very good form, he's done nothing out of line in my eye, his "temper" is quite refreshing when compared to the historical savages who've ravaged the fine accomplishments of Goldilocks and Union-enforcing greatness!
Productivity and innovation are the very God driven forces that craft great beings from piddly wee lumps. Grow the great oak, follow the Lord's commandments in all occupations, and don't be shaken by eccentricities.
It is often in these eccentricities that greatness is derived, it is from the peculiarities of fame individuals......... that we have books, forums, movies, tv shows and internet to help us rant about history for never ending years to come. We should all bow on our knees and thank Custer for giving us something better to do than twiddle our thumbs (but even thumb twiddling can be very good exercise, if any of you like a free fitness tip from the Stranger).
