It does appear that you're well into the "die"...orama cast...of thousands...!
I never did this before so Ill wait a week before I pull the trigger and I have a Custer figure coming so Im 100% sure but when I saw that Custers last stand diorama I almost die d but just cant see playing $1500 for a Battlefield platform I can make as I saw a video and it looks doable .

Quick update I got a guy down to $880 from $1030 on all $23 figures so I think Im gonna try my hand at Dioramas lol ! Man what I dont do for my Hero ! and Im guessing even though it was June the grass was still pretty green in the LBG area as the river banks were muddy as Reno could attest .
And if anyone has an opinion do you like the more spread out figure diorama or the closer together one like this ? I think its probably more accurate closer , man I like being a kid .

Well I finally decided on a set as I wanna try to rewrite history with a what if Reno and Benteen actually followed orders and I cant do that with the other set and heres the link and please dont freak purists the cannons are extra for free and no soldiers have swords but one .

Ok Guys , I just got the TSSD playset in and wow its better than I imagined as I spent 6 hours unwrapping all the pieces and then straightening many weapons on the figures as you have to use boiling water , bend it and then dip it cold water to hold the form and I also did a few hat bends too .
Im thinking of going even bigger by adding a Indian Village with camps tee pees , Squaws and the LBH river as a divider and possibly add General Terry and Reno hill if room permits almost like a working tactical map .
Keogh or anyone do you think these guys in the photo will work as Cavalry and Indian scouts ?

I have over 600 pieces but might need some more Indians and I just got in my horse holders and scouts so hopefully I can find a good Bloody Knife and a Lonesome Charley Reynolds in the group and the arrows will stick in the carpet grass very nicely !

I laid everything out quickly but heres what I got so far and sorry to the purists I had to mix up the horses with the holders to create variance of colors and Im not cutting off the sword sheaths from my mounted Cavalry though I will be adding dead horses for breast work and tons more arrows .
PS: I blame all your here from making me LBH crazy

Sideshow does a great job and these are some of their earliest work so I just couldnt pass them up and all their stuff always increases in value ! I used to buy most of their Batmans and then flipped them years later for double what I paid . Pretty funny most Sideshow superhero statues are the safest investment around these days

Special thanks to my technical adviser on proper Horse Holding Technique General keogh !
Lol. You'll need to clip off the long outer string and keep just the single strap linking up those 3 horses. And you would need to paint the line black to match the color of the link straps. Also, the horse-holder does actually hold the reigns of the other three horses. Their straps are all linked to his own horse under its head.
Ok Im gonna work on this even though black wont show up well and I understand the single black strap underneath but then does the rider/holder then hold the one strap ? or should I bunch the horses up closer head to head but either way I cant do it like the photo above and Im gonna used black cord . But Please let me know asap General Keogh be quick as the savages are about to route me Oh and bring packs
(So is the Bowen photo above basically correct procedure ? )
