Sincerest condolences go out to Steve Arnold, editor of the LBHA Newsletter, on the sudden passing of his wife. Steve has stepped down as editor due to this unfortunate tragedy. His absence will be felt by us all.
The new editor of our newsletter will be Rod Thomas. Rod is a longtime reenactor who is a veteran campaigner. Our thanks go out to him for stepping in under these trying circumstances.

It is with the deepest heart felt regret to learn that my fellow Canadian and Custer buff had lost his wife.
Also regretable that this must come as my first posting, as a new member here.
I had the pleasure of meeting Steve at the Gettysburg Conference, when he invited a new member to join the group for dinner at General Pickett,s.
Ihad the opportunity of meeting Mrs. Arnold at the Richmond Conference when we dined together, a very polite and reserved woman. I am sorry Steve, I forward my sincere condolences.
Respectfully.

From LBHA Chairman Bill Blake:
Margaret Ann Arnold, wife of LBHA Newsletter Editor Steve Arnold, passed away suddenly at her residence in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, on April 23, 2008. She was nearing her 56th birthday and was a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton. She is survived by her parents Marvin and Jacquie Carruthers, her brother James and her sister Jacquie. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 29th at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home.
Due to this unforeseen tragedy, Steve Arnold has relinquished his duties as Editor of the LBHA Newsletter and, as a replacement, I have appointed Rod Thomas of Spanaway, Washington, as the new Editor. Rod has stepped in with short notice and has graciously assumed these duties. Most of you may know Rod is a retired 30-year veteran of the U.S. Army and has been a past President of the CBHMA. The LBHA Board of Directors wishes to welcome Rod to this new level of responsibility and also wishes him much success.
My Best Regards,
Bill Blake, Chairman Little Big Horn Associates

Once again, I don't quite know everybody. But the Stranger sends his utmost regards as well.
Stay strong, and know they still live on!
